If you dream of winning the instant wealth of the EuroMillions lottery, you are not alone. That dream has been shared by millions all over the world since the first lottery drawing was held on Friday the 13th of February 2004. In May of 2011 there began a surge of winnings with the introduction of smaller prizes for matching fewer numbers. With every weekly drawing there are now 13 million EuroMillions prize possibilities.
The largest EuroMillions win was awarded on 10 August 2012, when Adrian and Gillian Bayford of Suffolk England walked away with the Sterling equivalent of €190 million. That wasn’t the only time the maximum jackpot was won: on the 24th of October 2014, a lucky Portuguese player managed to scoop up the gigantic European lottery jackpot all by himself! Who will be next?
